Using station checklists in my classroom has been the biggest game changer for my students. These allow students to have choice over the order the work on things, and it also teaches them how to pace things out (since I hand them out on Monday and everything is due on Friday).
 
I organize stations each Monday and allow students to work at their own pace on activities they prefer. Giving them this choice really helps get things done, because they can work in whichever order works best for them. They work on their math work during math time, and their reading work during reading time, etc. Then, they turn in their checklist to me each Friday along with their work.

Use these for station time!
If students have work to catch up on, you could create a checklist for them to use during the week.
Have one checklist for each subject and staple them together to help keep students organized.
 
Tips for Use:
Print at different percentages to change the size of the checklist.
Choose a design you like on google slides. Then, each week, just copy and paste the slide and make small changes. This way you don't have to re-start each week.
If there is a certain "table" format that you like better than others, they are all editable! Delete the table that is on the slide, click the corner of the table you like, click copy, and then paste the table onto the checklist design you like best.
